I used my colorway named Kaleidoscope to add a touch of color to my
latest hat. It was a fun hat to knit and provided some practice on
The black* yarn was processed by a mill into roving
and mill spun into yarn. The rest of the
process - dyeing, spinning the dyed roving, plying, and knitting the
hat was completed by me. The dyed yarn was completely
processed by me.

*Babydoll Southdown sheep are born either black or off-white. Even
though they are born black and referred to as black sheep, the fleece
of many will fade to dark chocolate or lighter shades of brown and even
an oatmeal color. As they age, some of the black sheeps’
will fade to different shades of gray, some much faster than other.

Babydoll wool is a natural
version of "superwash" if you will. I
have washed items in my front load washing machine
with a regular load of laundry with no ill effects; however, I air dry.
Handwashing and air drying is recommended.
